You really thought the Satan thread was good? it was cringe, with 80% sources coming from fringe websites. I'm sure there was a post about music company blood sacrifice and rituals, as usual with no receipts.
I would have thought the coli owners would want to reduce the aggression, conspiracy, homophobic and cac supremacy talk on the site.
i think some of y'all are not thinking broadly enough about what all could be discussed in a religion and spirituality subforum

Now let me say this first, i have nothing against criticism. Any principled stand or viewpoint I take must be able to withstand criticism. And if not, I need to abandon it.
There are some people where who are ready and willing to truly engage on that level without letting their feelings and emotions and projections get in the way.
Most people are not (on both sides). And in addition to that, most questions people pose as groundbreaking have been answered by theologians time and time again long before you and i were even conceived. So the discussion gets frustrating at that point.
It would be like you and I having a conversation about the future of storage mediums and you keep on expressing your fears about magnetic read/write heads.
Its been discussed, its been addressed, its been made obsolete, we gotta move on.
I know my analogy is straight basura but i'm at work trying to reapportion some LUNs

I personally think that there also varying levels of "spiritual" threads. Some would be far more accepted than others.
I had a stammering problem when I was very young. My speech therapist was a yogi. I could make a thread about she wanted me to do deep mediation and stretching in order help me with my stammering, and how this clashed with my fathers strict anglican household.
I think a thread like that would do well even in a space like TLR.
However if I made a thread about Transubstantiation, and the Anglo-Catholic belief that the communion elements actually become the physical body and blood of Jesus Christ during Eucharistic consumption... that thread will be chalk full of "Breh people actually fukkin believe that
