One thing I want to say is that this would not be as much of an issue if we held people to a higher conversational standard. My mother would correct me any time I used improper english as a child. If no one around a young man speaks proper english how can we expect him to write well?

But with these athletes man, a lot of the lower income/poorer minority cats are so cysed that everyone around them thinking they gonna be a pro. Parents included. So as long as they are passed along based on their athletic prowess, they don't care. They see those dollars even though the vast majority won't even see a pro court or field and end up stuck as a local park legend.

I commend your pops for that. Nothing worse than a young black girl who cannot speak proper English. It irks me to no end.

These parents really need to be brought up on charges for cycling their kids through the system like that, you know they ones that legitimately only see the dollar signs.

It is fukked up to drop dimes afterwards though. All these schools care about are keeping these nikkaz eligible to make money. Stop frontin like it's not the case. Ultimately, it is up to the student athlete to take advantage of the education, but when their heads are so gassed off of making the pros since junior high and shyt by enablers all around, you end up with this type of fukkery.

Nothing will happen to UNC though (esp the basketball team). No different than Duke not losing their 99 Final Four even though Maggette was ineligible. It's almost like certain schools are untouchable.

This can't be life ... ......UNC-Chapel Hill was last school I got accepted to, but no scholarship money, so ........ I know alot of folks need remediation in high school, but damn.... ....what was he doing in high school and middle school??



everybody at UNC was taking African American studies as if that should be easiest course load (don't ask me how) .... ......although it is dope they were learning Swahili .....
