Verlander’s slider has been godlike since mid season.

He’s got more of a repertoire than Severino who is just FB/SL (and CH but he’s not gonna throw it to RHBs)
Granted it’s one hell of a FB (around 98 mph) and Severino is no slouch.

But I think this is gonna be a tough game.
I could see the HOU batters cheating a bit and attacking the FB early in the count.

Vegas likes the Astros tonight (-148) for whatever that is worth.

But I can't find any japanese baseball game logs or splits.

On June 23rd this season, Darvish and Tanaka got it on again.

Darvish went 7 innings and struck out 10.
