Look how shook he was of the gloves, like he saw a ghost ... look how eager they were to see maidana last fight gloves that he used on broner only to see they are the same... Floyd used to use Reyes punchers gloves but started to have hand problems and went with grants.

Cotto fought in the same gloves that Maidana wanted to fight in? But Mayweather said "no" to Maidana?

So Floyd said Maidana should wear the same gloves that Floyd wears.
Then Robert Garcia (Maidana's trainer) says that both fighters should fight in Maidana's gloves.

I mean, what is the deal with these MX gloves?

MX Gloves have less padding in them on the knuckles, so it's the closest you can legally get to hit someone with bare knuckles in Boxing.

Maidana is all power and naturally bigger than both Floyd & AB...but AB fought him while Maidana Had On MX gloves and Floyd refused to calling them "illegal" when they weren't.

Floyd fought him and made him wear gloves with extra padding in them, while against Broner, Maidana basically hit him with bare knuckles. That's the reason the ONLY person to ever drop Broner, the only person to even rock Broner in 34 career fights, was Maidana in those "illegal" gloves.

For proof of how much power Maidana Has even without looking at his high KO ratio...he rocked Floyd at 1 point near the end of a round and had him walking back to his corner like he was drunk even WITH the extra padded gloves on. Imagine he had him with the MX GLOVES instead like the ones he had on against Broner

Mx gloves are what we call punchers gloves, Reyes gloves are also punchers gloves... mx gloves are made of horse hair for padding.. after the wiegh in the fighter OKs the other fighters gloves, Floyd was suprised and said the glove had no padding.. it was suprisenly to me that Floyd would react like that as if he never saw mx gloves before... he refused to let maidana wear mx gloves and pressured to cancel the fight.. even in the rematch he didn't let him wear the mx gloves.
