MX Gloves have less padding in them on the knuckles, so it's the closest you can legally get to hit someone with bare knuckles in Boxing.

Maidana is all power and naturally bigger than both Floyd & AB...but AB fought him while Maidana Had On MX gloves and Floyd refused to calling them "illegal" when they weren't.

Floyd fought him and made him wear gloves with extra padding in them, while against Broner, Maidana basically hit him with bare knuckles. That's the reason the ONLY person to ever drop Broner, the only person to even rock Broner in 34 career fights, was Maidana in those "illegal" gloves.

For proof of how much power Maidana Has even without looking at his high KO ratio...he rocked Floyd at 1 point near the end of a round and had him walking back to his corner like he was drunk even WITH the extra padded gloves on. Imagine he had him with the MX GLOVES instead like the ones he had on against Broner:wow:
@dh86 :ohhh:

Did you just refer to the DC Armory as a high school gym?:what:

Do you even know the fighters who have come thru having fights there over the last few years?:mindblown:

Do you realize that every PBC fight is on cable?:dahell:

Do you not know that this fight was picked by Al Haymon personally to be the debut of PBC on Spike?:dwillhuh:

This isnt the spike tv debut

Look,

I think most people would put their money on Floyd if he fought Broner. That's just a credit to how successful Floyd has been in his career.
But keep it real: Did any of you think at the time that the Maidana fight would be Floyd's toughest bout of his career? :usure:

The point is, anything can happen.

shyt, I once saw Josesito Lopez break Victor Ortiz' jaw. And I'm pretty sure at the time Lopez was a stand-in at the last minute for Andre Berto. Didn't Lopez have like 10 days or some shyt to get ready for that fight? And I know you're all reading this like "Victor Ortiz aint shyt" -- well that may be, but there's not a chance in hell you had him losing to Lopez. Ortiz was gonna fight fukkin Canelo, lol !!

I think Adrien's style is similar to Floyd's. And they know each other pretty well. It would be interesting
:manny:

I did

There's no shame in losing to maidana
ESPecislly since Broner kept fighting and refused to quit
That 10-2 porter L was embarassing though
And he did struggle with paulie
He needs to start fighting (and winning) against top of the line fighters on a regular basis
But with him moving up to 147, it's only gonna get harder for him :yeshrug:
Porter won 8 rounds. And got dropped. It was his toughest win yet.

Fight wasn't close
I agree.
But Broner finally came to life in that final round and almost knocked Porter out.

Seems curious for Porter not to accept a rematch.

Then again, Porter decided to fight Keith Thurman this June. So maybe that's a bigger fight (more money?) for him ??
Thurman gonna bust his ass tho.

Your on a roll today with the bullshyt fam :mjlol:.
explain how their styles are similar
They fight nothing alike
If your not comparing floyd to other all time greats it's not even worth a argument.
I'll remember this when Broner goes life and death with Berto tho :russ:

floyd hasn't even been in his prime since like the hatton fight. He has fukked up hands and he's still been schooling bigger, younger fighters for like the last 7-8 years. That's the true testiment to his greatness/success...not him being fAvored to win over Adrien fukkkng Broner :mjlol:

You don't think their styles are similar?
Who the fukk do you think Broner patterns his style after? Arturo Gatti?

:mjlol:

You gotta be the most insufferable boxing "fan" on this entire site.

Have you ever even posted in The Ring?

No one wants to see a rematch between Broner and the Homie news. It was a very clear win
Porter got comfortable because he was winning so easy and got caught slipping in the last round.
He's on to bigger and better things now.

Adrien is on record as saying he watches Floyd's fights before going to bed to learn from and emulate.
