Abs becoming more defined during bulk?

i've been increasing my calories but i've noticed my abs are actually becoming more noticeable...i fully expected the opposite?

nikka you're under 155? You're gonna put on alot more muscle than fat with your metabolism if you atleast attempt a good diet, thank genetics


Slow muscle gains lifestyle can be lame tho after you put on your first 10/15 lbs

this is the result

dont listen to folks about dirty bulking, what your doing is correct

slow and steady that way there isnt a need for unnecessary cutting afterwards

but realistically it isnt that much different than the other pics youve posted, you just have favorable lighting :cheff:

Is that your mother's bedroom?
Anyways, you just started bulking a week ago. There isnt much measurable change in that time. I find that different lighting and times of day display different levels of definition.

Abs are purely based on body fat %. lower your fat% more abs. You are prob just working them a lot more and have not gained any weight (1 week is nothing dude).
