This doesn’t even make sense. So he waited until they were up 3-1 to “prove a point”?

Kobe has one of the greatest PR campaigns ever. Him dying tragically with his daughter has made a lot of people go full retard with revisionism.

If any other player did this y’all would be saying they quit. Stop the cap. He quit and that’s okay to admit because he came back to win two more titles. Every great has had bad playoff moments.

It was already happening when he was alive, but his untimely passing has really thrown any ability to talk about him critically/objectively out the window.

That first half stat sheet :deadrose:
To be fair, that team was G League status outside of him. If Luke Walton is leading your second half attack, prepare for the offseason. Smush bytch ass Parker. shyt got me thinking what it would have been like if Ben Simmons played with him or MJ

To prove a point. So they gave up a 3-1 lead and he stopped shooting because he got in his feelings? Ibrons this the "Mamba Mentality" you guys like to spew?

I'd like to imagine everyone who watched that game knew that to be the case at the time so I don't know why Jim coming off like he dropping knowledge lol.

It's a testament to how competitive and how much of a winner Kobe was that folks even give that a pass.

RIP Bean :sadbron:

People don't remember charles criticized Kobe. Kobe appeared on Inside the NBA and discussed everything

This is why I respect Kobe.
He didn’t use a burner account to tweet about it. Or use an army of surrogates to manipulate public sentiment.

He did what he did. And he said what he said. And had no problem telling it direct to Charles or whoever.
