Threads like this remind me that the OGs in the forum (including myself) are :flabbynsick:

I remember real-time stan wars about this game on RealGM and AHH back then.

There's nothing anyone can say about this game that wasn't already said in real time, as well as on this forum

OP is a Klutch dikksucking loser.

This is why I respect Kobe.
He didn’t use a burner account to tweet about it. Or use an army of surrogates to manipulate public sentiment.

He did what he did. And he said what he said. And had no problem telling it direct to Charles or whoever.

These nikkas who look up a cross country dikkriding fakkit can't relate. Dumbass nikkas talking about a "Kobe PR machine" when Kobe himself literally went on TV to discuss the thing right after it happened.

Thread backfire. Kobe still the realist while Klutch is a passive aggressive conglomerate of fakkits.

Cued to start of the 4th quarter

Score was Phoenix 90 Lakers 65

In game 6 Kobe scored 50 on 20-35 (5-8 from 3) shooting and we lost by 8 in OT, and Phil had the audacity to criticize Kobe after Kobe followed his instructions in Game 1-5. We had a W that series where Luke had more points than Kobe because that's what Phil wanted (Kobe to be a decoy). Then when he pivots to going off in G6 to try and finish off the series (which he almost did, took the game to OT) , Phil bytch ass wanted to say something.

There was nothing Kobe could do at that point. Feel like he could've handled it a different way, but he had to let Phil know to stop with that BS. Kobe had Smush, Luke and Kwame actually being productive most of that series. Pushing the Suns to 7 was the most that team could do.

Kobe propaganda machine truly the best in the business. Bron would probably murder an infant or two to get the kinda false narrative ball washing that Bean does.
He’s lucky no one talks about him quitting on CLE in the 2010 EC Semi’s as a number one seed. Conveniently, folks tend to forget that ever happened cause he went to MIA that offseason. Let Bean would’ve ripped off and thrown his jersey walking into the tunnel after losing. But I think folks like to throw up, “look at his numbers that series” as evidence that he didn’t. But whatever. I’m just a Kobe stan

Podcasts didnt exist 20 years ago,ex-players obviously have a lot more venues and space to tell stories at their own liberty.

Where would he talk about this back then? Give an exclusive to ESPN while hes still an active NBA player?

You're talking about a guy that's been a media personality covering the NBA for well over a decade
