It's one thing to not shoot 3s or jumpers but to shoot Biedrins level from FT is an abomination:scust:

If he shoots just 65%, philly wins

How you shoot worse FTs worse than Shaq:mindblown:

Even Rondo would let a few jumpers fly every game

This is one of the reasons that Stephen A is a hoe.. You all over the place yesterday screaming They have to trade Ben Simmons:damn: but you go on TV the very next day and try and kill his trade value :dead:

This dude Stephen A is a clown! :russ:

This.

SAS' sources could be true, but also this is very clearly a hit job. It's so transparent. Philly doesn't seem stupid enough to do this so someone else is trying to tank his value.

Instead of the media casting stones at Simmons, why don't they actually do their job and find out through "sources" what's actually going on with him. I will maintain that it's something deeper going on with him and not just the yips or being scared to shoot.
Something must have been going on his entire life because he has NEVER tried to shoot. It's not like something new is happening. He's gotten every success he has in life, not shooting or even trying to. Why start now? Cause they are paying me less? Nope? Ok cool... "I am who I am" - Simmons

Why Stephen A. Smith, Skip Bayless or whatever are still being mentioned so often? They never played professional basketball and we are in the social media era where any former basketball player could make a podcast, a live stream or whatever and give their opinion...at least that would be from someone who played the game. Stephen A. Smith is a pre-written script show. His sources ain't shyt. A guy that's getting paid tons of money is not showing enough effort? Well that means he doesn't work nor listen to the coaches! Bingo, we have a source.
Because as you see in the clip, those players and coaches and owners love to give him the information. He's a reporter. If 5 people in the Sixers organization text him inside info, what y'all want him to do? "Oh I said they should trade him, so I can't give out this info." "Oh another NBA player could do this and knows more, so I should ditch 30 years of connections and inside info to a guy who won't even snitch cause he's got too many friends"

I don't know about Skip or the other guys. But all of your favorite stars LOVE giving SAS exclusive info. nikka said KD made the weakest move ever by a superstar and according to KD "lied" on him about leaving OKC... And KD was still on the show weeks after, giving exclusive interviews, and SAS was the first one with the news about the NETS, 8 months in advance...

Nah... I don't give a damn about his personality. When people want to leak info, they go straight to SAS or Woj... They are top in their sports with the info and SAS brings the celeb/direct people with him as well

It still doesn't negate the fact that he's actually trying, which is something he's obviously not doing right now.

So again the question should be why isn't he? That should be the media's job to actually figure it out instead of rambling about useless speculation. Why would they though when they can get easy ratings by joining in on the slander?
No it's not the media's fukking job.. It's HIS job.. His coaches job.. The organizations job.... His friends and family and those that love him job.. Not the media to run around, trying to figure out, why in 25 years of life, this man refuses to shoot in game jumpers.. In college or NBA when it matters.. Not practice and scrimmage games

Common sense would say he's scared. I'd also say that LSU and Philly, having hundreds of millions weighing on his success, have already done everything possible to find out and help this guy. You think we the only idiots who thought about new shot coach, sports shrink, different methods, sit downs, work with this nba star, work with that nba legend.....

Come on man... You looking for this super tough hidden gem to unlock it all. Same with Fultz... Did they find a reason or is he still some shyt that nobody can figure out why he went from #1 to a 12ppg scorer? Sometimes guys are just fukked up. Ain't no mystery

To your point - this is from DraftExpress' scouting report in 2016, sounds like it could've been written yesterday cause absolutely nothing has changed:

Opponents were able to neutralize him very effectively in the half-court as the season moved on, simply backing five feet off him. Simmons would respond by getting very passive in turn, looking very conscious about firing up jumpers, even late in games when his team desperately needed him to be aggressive. To reach his full potential and effectively be paired with other players, Simmons will likely either need to significantly improve his jumper, or be surrounded by plenty of shooters at all times as a primary ball-handler. - Source: DraftExpress - Ben Simmons DraftExpress Profile: Stats, Comparisons, and Outlook ©DraftExpress

As he said in his press conference, he is what he is.

Exactly.. Some people can practice all they want and still not put anything to use in game. I remember all those centers were training with Olajuwon that summer... Came back and none of them nikkas did any of that shyt in game. Never went back to train again. Julius Randle ain't gone left his entire career and you'd think he'd work on it and change... Nope. Porzingas was supposed to gain some weight and learn how to work the post.... Nope.

There are players who retire as the same person they were as Freshmen in college. Ain't nothing new or difficult about it. They just go with what they know works and call it a day

How do you know that they haven’t done that and still came to the conclusion that he doesn’t care about basketball just the money and fame :ohhh:
