Sadly I think me and you both know that has minimum bearing on success as an artist....Great artist are struggling and horrible artist are on. He's had hot songs, hot features etc more than so than some of the artist who are actually on.

Right :mjlol:

Hate when cats fake it by sayin that talent is what makes an artist successful or not. Never been that way in hip-hop, especially since the early 00's.

I believe its timing, the right people behind you and business. nikkaz talkin about "he aint a good artist" when you literally got rappers not saying anything
and they "dope". Why? Cuz the radio/tv play them & the industry hype them, so they follow suit.

I never claimed to be a fan of Ace Hood. But to say he not that good being the reason is bogus as hell.

A Nicca who calls everyone his brother and supports everyone is a Nicca who is full of shyt, and that Nicca is named Khaled.
In a industry where everybody says the majority of the people are snakes here comes khaled talking like everybody is his best fukkin friend.

Why did so many people dap this? Khaled did everything you could ask a manager to do for you

Movado is on the album
Not talking about what Khaled has done for Ace, I'm talking about Khaled in general on how he paints everything as peachy, and everyone is friends or his brother, and everything is all love.

What do you expect him to do? You rather have him shyt on ace hood?

If anything it's ace who's likely to have hard feelings, not Khaled

You ain't got to shyt on him, but tell the truth. Obviously Ace feels a way by saying that he wish Khaled would tell the truth.

That nikka had every oppurtunity to be a star but Hip-Hop ultimately said no :yeshrug:
u either got the juice or u dont, khaled gave him so many high profile features and the platform to drop several dud albums and people just didnt care about ace hood the artist, he should be nothing but grateful with the opportunities khaled gave him but there comes a time when u gotta accept that something just isn't gonna blow

now if theres anyone who should be pissed its godfather vado, he didnt even get a chance to flop like ace hood did 4 times.. khaled threw him in the bushes without hesitation.. didnt even give him any high profile features or an album

Completely agree with both of these. Ace Hood Has like 5 songs I rock with (Overtime, Cash Flow, Loco With The Cake, Stressin, Hustle Hard). He can spit, but he just really doesn't stand out that much. He was good for a couple single anthems I guess, but he was just always on songs with people who were simply better than him.

To me Ace Hood and J. Cole are the same rappers.. It's crazy what light skinned and Roc Nation can do for ones career.
:ohhh: You have a point here.

The only difference was Ace hood was too generic even though he had a unique flow.

Cole is generic as well but he has a unique subject matter

But this is the same story in rap, that has been repeated forever.

When someone careers falls behind they look to place blame and it usually falls on their label.

Ace Hood had a very good career. When I first heard him I never thought he would have hit records, a flow that rap would bit and Mixtapes people rock too.
