Action got boring to me. Every verse is a food, bytches and 80's wrestler reference.
Yep.

There's about half of it that I'll keep. The Choreographer was groovy. 9-24-700 was dope. Bonzai and Chop Chop Chop were dope. My Right Lung was cool. The Chairman's Intent was cool but I thought the hook got old.

Not much else really caught me to be honest.

Meh.

Don't think dude has it in him to carry an album, especially since he's gotten worse as an mc.
Another thing too is can we get an introspective joint? The only one I ever heard was on Well Done.I feel like he doesn't have much to talk about?

I feel like you can take any raps from any song and put it on any beat and you wouldn't be able to tell a difference.

Redman is a rapper that can rap about nothing but keep it fresh.

Action's dopeness is only as dope as his production, straight up. He also chooses a lot of weaker producers, minus Alchemist.

I'd love to hear him over some more elite production.

Also, he always pics beats with the light drums man. or no drums. I wanna hear Action over a straight banger. Everything is seems like it's basically a straight loop with little to no drums.

Roc Marci and Ka and Conway can pull that off. And even Conway raps over a lot of more traditional bangers.

I'm sounding like a hater and I'm trying not to.

Action Bronson has never spit anything lyrically that made me go "Damn, son can spit! ". Clearly, he jacked Ghostface style and tried to make it his own. I dig the fact he can cook and seems like a funny dude. But as a rapper, no way I can sit through an entire album. He's just not that nice. I'm actually kinda surprised that folks still look out for him.

This here.

Yup pretty much the very thing that made me love his music is what also made it boring and repetitive

It's about entertainment to me a rapper doesn't have to wow lyrically if he has charisma and flow and can craft songs and has an ear for beats

Action lyrically has gotten bad lately but listen to some of his old stuff especially the blue chip albums. Lyrically he's not bad at all
He's not wack so I'm not condemning anybody for listening. There's tracks I can fukk with that he's been on. It seemed like he was kinda close to really catching folks attention and then the fiasco with Ghostface. Fell off.

Even after the whole Ghostface situation I wasn't gonna brush this guy's shyt... I hated him at first then got used to him and learned to appreciate him... even if he was a clone it's better than having these repeated clones of commerical dudes... but this dude really just stopped progressing.

He was always a fool... but now it almost sounds forced. Like he's literally thinking of off the wall shyt nowdays... trying to do 180 degree turns within bars. It ain't smooth as it used to be. Even look at the production list: Harry Fraud, Alchemist, Oh No, Statik Selektah, Mark Ronson, 40... c'mon Action. shyt was boring brehs... not sayin it's BAD... but it has no momentum. shyt like Blue Chips 1 and was like just repeated stupid raps on some nice beats.... I just listened to this like "ummm where's the rest?"

After first listen I don't even know who produced what... can't lie I was doin something while listening but I wasn't like :picard: "Oh No again" or anything like that

Might be make or break for Bronson. Been gone too long and the singles he's dropped were mid.

Got high hopes.
