I just listened to this shyt the other day. It's a weed plate. Name me one noteworthy Com song on it. :francis:
shyt was corny.
But to your point - it did remind me of the Love Below :ohhh:

Star 69, Between Me, You And Liberation, I Am Music, Jimi Was A Rock Star, Soul Power and Aquarius. I guess we just disagree on it, it is what it is. :yeshrug:

Not really? Bronson's label was the focus, not Alchemist. Bronson even said ALC was even :francis: on a few tracks.

But from my own personal perspective....Baby Blue is a fun track...I have no hate for it..its cool...the beat is chill...chorus is funny..I would let it ride out...its not thoroughly skippable

also City Boy Blues is ill....so I guess I'm not who he is talking to :yeshrug:

My favorite track is still Only In America...that first verse and the beat is ill as fukk

Edit: Cam would of blessed Only In America :wow:

Yeah that has that Diplomatic Immunity vibe to it :mjcry: powerful music that he brought to the table

Actin Crazy and Easy Rider are the only songs worth listening to off there to me.

He'll never top SAAAB Stories :manny:

Album was a letdown. Rappers fail to realize that when you're "experimenting" with music, there's always someone who does what you're experimenting on properly that we can go listen to. That being said, save your "experimenting" for the tapes.

I wholeheartedly agree. Dude's tapes had all the classics and all he had left was Mr. Wonderful. Personally it was a huge disappointment. Was waiting for this since last year.

Haven't heard the album but I have considered Bronson one of the best MCs out of the "new" class along with krit, badass, and Gibbs.

The only thing I could think of is he got tired of dropping fire for free and decided to try something different.

Naw mane, don't do Common like that. Electric Circus is actually one of his best albums. He took a risk musically and pulled it off. Ppl will shyt on that, but then uplift 808's & Heartbreaks like it's the best thing since sliced bread.
808s isn't a hip hop album.
Electric Circus is one of his worst albums.

Only song I really liked was Aquarius.

everything else is kinda wack to me, i give it a 3.5

he really needs to start rapping about something, lol, not just a bunch of blind rhymes, can't do that for an entire album breh

See, this is what gets me; Electric Circus is dope and ahead of it's time. A lot of hip-hop shyt that gets praised these days have a soundscape similar to what's found on that album. Electric Circus' experimentation was dope musically but came at the wrong time, I guess.

imo, it is common at the apex of his skill set as an emcee.
just to experimental production wise and not really a high quality submission to that style of music sonically or direction wise.
