Get Adguard Adblocker. blocks all ads

Used to use have Ad block, Ad blocker plus, AND Ublock origin. Also had magic options of youtube for the best experience.
All stopped blocking ads one day. Magic options would keep trying but that would just keep refreshing the page which was annoying af

Remove all other ad extensions and YouTube specific extensions. Some might not have been updated so they’ll trigger the flag.

Install UBlock origin, purge cache, update the lists again and watch a video.

Been fine for me. But it’s going to be a cat and mouse battle though.

All you posters in here sucking off YouTube Premium is the damn problem.

Keep showing these corporations that you’re willing to pay for bullshyt, and they’ll keep on milking you. Pretty soon YouTube will become a microstreaming service with each channel and don’t y’all say shyt when it happens either.
What's the bullshyt tho?

To state the obvious.. How do you expect the channels you watch to keep thriving and putting out content if you're not supporting them with ad revenue?

Feel like I'm missing something here

They all have sponsors who pay them to do in video ads or they sell merch or start Patreons to beg for money. Google ad sense barely pays them anything

I been watching youtube for a decade plus and I've never seen an ad.

I'm sure they are doing fine.

So much this. Most content creators actually go other areas to get money, since YouTube is stingy as all hell. My man's LGR thriving with his Patreons and etc.

The only folks whining about adblockers and etc, are the ones that are stuck in the mud. Also you got to factor that most people use the mobile version of YouTube. Nobody checking for revanced and all of that but real ones.

Most people really don't know the internet except day one brehs.

So you all know just how much they earn... and had have decided they don't need ad revenue to survive. Just be honest and say you don't want to see ads

What about smaller channels starting up? They likely wont have sponsors and could potentially be one of your favourite channels one day, providing they see some sort of point in doing it, i.e cash

Maybe it has been said, but there is a “user agent switcher” which changes the footprint of your browser (make your Chrome see as Internet Explorer to servers you connect to). I used one on my opera browser and it reports as a Windows Mobile browser. I was able to keep Ublock on, change no settings and purge no cache, and im back to ad-free youtube.
