Silver could have left out the "we've found additional additional information" in his comments as all that's going to do is give people greenlight to go digging for more Ja situations or bring to light stories they might have known already.

Now it's a story because people are wanting to know what that additional information is instead of just saying the decision will be made after the finals or whatever and that be the end of the story for now since everyone knows he's getting suspended.

With that being said, hopefully this is a wakeup call for Ja to get his shyt together as I hate seeing dudes fukk up generational wealth because of their own actions.

The first time, nobody explained why what he did was wrong correctly. The second time, nobody is still able to explain why what he did was technically wrong. I mean is the nba against guns in general? Or just when black men have them? This whole thing has really exposed peoples fear of a black man with a gun. Even a nba millionaire is treated like hes about to go do a driveby.

He shouldnt be doing it because kids are looking, its that simple. But thats not the reasoning Ive been seeing given.

Let's say I made you spokesperson for McDonald's..

Do you think you could carry yourself as the typical person can?

The smallest infraction and your jobs gone.

They didn't suspend him for ownership of a firearm, he was on instagram flashing it like he on some gangster shyt. It's not that hard to figure out why he shouldn't be doing that as one of the faces of the league.
Sure should he be doing it? No

There’s a lot of non illegal things players do but no outrage or suspensions are given

Like I said it sets a bad precedent for NBPA to just roll over for waving a gun(at nobody) in front a camera. If this was the NFLPA posters would be shytting on how weak they are. Unfortunately Ja being boneheaded hurts him but he’s entered Draymond/Kyrie territory. People dislike him.

If flashing the gun was an isolated incident he wouldn’t have been suspended. The gun incident was the final straw after the confrontations with the 17 year old kid, the incident at the shoe store, threats made at a volleyball game, and whatever happened in Indy. This doesn’t need to be explained to most adults with critical thinking skills.

Nba investigated and could not confirm any gun threats were made in indiana. So essentially it was assumed it was a gun because of how he and his friends look. If Jokic pointed a laser would that be the same assumption? Media chsnged Jas image from cute dancing Ja to Dangerous Ja based on their reporting without all the facts.

"did a investigation seen they were cappin. still let a article come out to paint this negative image on me & my fam . & banned my brother from home games for a year . unbelievable," Morant tweeted with a laughing face."

So now after they painted Ja as a menace. Its his fault that seeing him with a gun is some sort of scary precursor to him doing a driveby:mjlol:?

Well yes,it is his fault and I guess he got his wakeup call. This is what it is to be a black man in America. Kobe got his wakeup call and came back stronger. Hopefully Ja does the same

Idk, fam might get banned entirely. Moving too reckless. shyt can get extremely dangerous without you even knowing there was an issue.

Difference is Ja is an nba player, not a spokesman. And the nba thrives on players having different personalities and personas and speaking freely up to a certain point. If its about being a good representative why dont players have scripts at press conferences. Why not have a team spokesman speak on behalf of the players.

Crazy how the nba never told players wearing skirts and dresses were a bad look for the nba. Guess its okay for the kids to see that:respect:

Dude grew up middle class why is he so desperate to prove that he belongs in the streets?
He needs to change his circle of friends because this comes from peer pressure it seems.

Its seems the best image of a Black man present in media is some street hoodlum thug or criminal lowlife..so natually the imprssionable will gravitate towards that..
