He's towing the company line.

Media has to start seducing fans into believing 2 of last MVPs on the same team with two other All-Stars, is a good thing.
that post was from early june breh. i've heard much of the opposite post KD signing in regards to competitive balance

But some teams play down to their opponents. Just because the Seahawks win their division with 7-9 doesn't mean they wouldn't have won another division with 12-4. Don't assume shyt, nikka. It wasn't luck.
:mjlol: That isn't being exposed, fakkit, it's a whole new season, new rosters and everything. A grip of SB champs missed the playoffs the next season, does that mean they wasn't shyt :dahell: FOH, it still means they were the best when they won it all. It will never happen, b.

:dead: Legitimately one of the worst arguments I have ever read on here. Really hope you are just trolling.

It's the same company that acted like Bron raped somebody 6 years ago. The company line is that anything that makes people pay attention is a good thing. He is telling the truth though. NBA has never been about parity, especially during it's boom periods.

One goal or run can win a game. The most important player in baseball changes every game and even during the game. The best hitter gets just as many ABs as the worst. A hot goalie can carry a squad. You have more moving parts, variance, and happenstance than basketball despite playing series.

It is what it is. If you want average teams getting a chance at the title and sometimes breaking through due to unfair rules or a well timed hot streak (which most people mistake for parity) then the NBA aint the league for you :yeshrug:.

Yep the best pitcher on the team doesn't pitch every game.

And you right about the best hitter and the worst hitter getting the same ABs

That's like a role player taking the same shots as a superstar in the nba

Imagine Shumpert shooting the ball the 25 times a game like kyrie or lebron

NFL parity is based around irregular schedules and a knockout playoff system

An NBA team can lose game 1 and win in 5. An NFL team loses game 1 and that's it

excellent points

And on this notion of parity.....lets be serious...nba fans dont give a fukk about parity...nba is built around entertaining dynastic teams who have compelling superstars and entertainers

Many of you teams in the nba have had multiple chances to build good to great teams but through cheapness, mismanagement or sometimes genuinely bad luck have never made the next step

And lets face if....if the New York Knicks were to win the next 5 championships most of you in here wouldnt give a fukk about parity either

MISS ME WITH THE FAKE OUTRAGE WHEN THIS BOARD IS FILLED WITH BREATHLESS JORDAN SYCOPHANTS....who cared about parity then

The same person accountable for the last 12 years-- the owner.

The other factors that come into play (weather, taxes, never ending youth movement) limit their ceiling-- I think it always keeps them from being a contender--but the fish rots from the head.

this is what I am saying

Name me one nba team that hasnt had a chance to really improve either through draft or trade, or scouting or coaching

they all have...some of you have to come to grips with the fact that many of your team owners dont really give a fukk about winning
