Why do y’all keep posting this bullshyt? The league is more popular than it’s ever been. Just because your old dusty ass doesn’t gravitate towards it like you used to means it’s in a “sad state”. The fact that you only consume NBA content when you commute to/from work would suggest to me you occupy your free time with other things.

There’s nothing the NBA can do that’ll ever get you back to watching it like you want to. I’d imagine you’ve got a family/kids, other priorities, play video games, watch movies/TV, post on social media etc where you’re not going to give up most of those things up for a sport where the generations of players are 10-20+ years your junior.

My pops was saying back in the 90s that it was only a matter of time before you had to pay to watch the SB. We can clearly see that time is coming. People will adjust just like they did with boxing. Dudes in their 40s and younger dont know a world where the fights came on regular TV.

Some will give up. Some will steal. Many more will pay and the bottomline is they are gonna get their money. We all gotta make the individual choice to stop supporting it when it goes to far.
