A tourney would be awesome, as long as it did not exceed 82 games.

Like people have said it would be like soccer(Champions league, UEFA cup) and I really would like to see something like that tested for a year at least.....change like that wouldn't hurt unless players get injured and seeing how it looks like my team won't win a chip any time soon(BK Nets) I'd like to see teams have a chance to win something else. Like I said i'd just like to see this cool idea happen at least once.

UEFA includes soccer clubs from different leagues, so it wouldnt be like that at all, unless you're bringing over Euroleague, and ACB teams. That would be lame

single elimination tournament, can only sit out 3 players from roster, first to 100 points wins game.

everybody that played on the winning team get $1M, MVP of winning team gets bonus $1M.

winning team also hosts next all star weekend.

What about a single elimination tourney between all the non playoff teams for draft order? Ie winner gets #1 runner up gets #2 etc. You could have a week between the end of the season and the offs (and make the first round 5 games again to not make the season superlong)

I don't get it. I mean, if it's all just for a new trophy that they gonna make why would teams play ANY of their valuable assets mid season to compete for that when the ultimate goal will always be the NBA Finals. Let's not even ponder CLE not allowing Bron to play in it or OKC allowing Durant because that much is obvious, these organizations wouldn't even want Tristian Thompson and Kendrick Perkins suiting up for the tourney.
