Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
the nba is saying that because they quite clearly have a fukking agenda...which you seem to be ignoring

The NBA is never going to say hey we have had GM's and owners who havent been held accountable for their decisions

The nba isnt going to say that we recycle failed coaches ad nauseum.

The nba isnt going to say hey all those guys we bring in from europe that have been playing professionally still have the same adjustment curve as these college kids...many times even worse.

The nba isnt going to say we would really like if salaries would drop across the board and free agency became less restrictive

NBA doesnt say a lot of fukking things

The college one and done is simply another way they would like to restrict money earned. THERE IS NOTHING NOBLE ABOUT THEIR INTENTION

fukk outta here
And it took them 50 some years to come to this conclusion?

It wasn't the fact that from 62-95 there were a grand total of 3 players drafted out of high school

Between 95-2005 there were 41 players drafted out of high school.

Of that 41, a whopping 10 have been selected for at least 1 all star game.

So yes. You are right. These gms were picking a bunch of high school bums

But at the same time, too many high school STARS, was making noise, knowing they probably wouldn't be shyt in college with the higher comp... and they definitely wasn't that star in the NBA either.

It's like any game. You out here playing madden on rookie. Yea you look amazing. Bump it up to pro and you do good but not as good. Bump it up to all madden and we see what you really are.

If you had to play GM. Which would you rather have. High school scouting, 1 year of college scouting, or 4? I have never once said this best for players. No one would. The NBA is trying to do what's best for them. No shyt. It's a business

you again assume that the extra years of scouting will magically improve the choices the gm's make

these scouts are vastly inept but get shielded from the consequence of their choices....again A GM RECENTLY GAVE JOAKIM NOAH 72 MILLION DOLLARS

that gm had plenty of footage and information to work with and he still gave him that contract...

but god forbid a dude who was in college try to make it in a pro league honing his craft for the competition he is going to have to face eventually...

the issue is not the players...its that many teams have mediocre to poor scouting, poor and uninnovate coaching and little accountability.

many players leave teams, go to another and become useful nba players because that team/coach utilizes the players skillset

who are these great NCAA coaches that are molding nba ready players? Name 10 of them

The Effect of Early Entry to the NBA

Take out those 10 all-stars out of the 41 drafted. Who are all of these bums drafted with high picks that were ruining the game?

Al Harrington - 25th pick
Al Jefferson - 15th pick
Monta Ellis - 40th pick

All had all star caliber seasons but weren't all stars.

Then you got guys that were drafted outside the lottery and the 2nd round that had solid careers.

Josh Smith - 17th
JR Smith - 18th
Deshawn Stevenson - 23rd
Travis Outlaw - 23rd
Kendrick Perkins - 27th
Gerald Green - 18th
CJ Miles - 34th
Andray Blatche - 49th
Amir Johnson - 56th
Lou Will - 45th
Dorrell Wright - 19th

There were guys that had fukked up injuries like:

Livingston
Webster
Jonathan Bender

Eddy Curry ate himself out the league, college wouldn't have stopped that. We've seen Mike Sweetney do the same.

Back to the high school kids going straight to the nba and being question marks or trash for 3 years before a team has to decide whether or not to pay them 90+ mil :martin:

If I ran the nba I'd Make them stay in school 2 years minimum no more eddy curry, kwame brown, sebestian telfair, leon smith bum ass players.

Yeah you right we need more Adam Morrison's the box headed nikka from duke, hasheem thabeet, Evan turners, derrick Williams :mjlol:

The 1 and done rule was only put in place by the NBA to protect teams with incompetent front offices from themselves.

Detroit You bytch Ass nikka
more on my point... look at last years freshmen

simmons... couldn't do shyt in college, took team nowhere... now we get to wait while he's injured all year and spend the next few years watching him try to develop a damn jumper... this is the first pick
ingram....avg at best... second pick... ain't doing shyt... another project to watch
brown... 3rd pick.... who?? nikkas made it to the offs and he ain't do shyt
jamal murray.. 7th pick... WHO?
marquese chriss.. 8th pick... nikka who?

these are your top 10 picks that are one and dones... nba don't want to see their top 10 picks coming out here avg 9 point and below a game.. 2nd pick in the draft talking about "maybe he'll be a good role player next year and then in his third we might can mold him into a star"

nikka you supposed to be molded when you get here.. this the damn nba, not the d-league.. and i bet if they stayed in college, they'd have developed some skills at the LEAST... or teams would figure out, hey maybe these ain't no top 10 nikkas
nikka, we just had EASILY the best draft class since 03 in 2015, and it's looking like that can end up an all time great draft class in general bro. That class gave the league 3 legit big men who all have potential to be 20/10 players for a long time, and KAT who was the most complete big man as a rookie in NBA history (there were a few better rookie bigs of course, but NOBODY had the skill versatility of KAT EVER, nikka just put up 25/12 as a 2nd year big for God's sake bro lol).

This upcoming year is also full of 1 and dones who could potentially be franchise players as wings, so that's 2 deep ass draft classes in a 3 year period with one class in between which could be the WOAT (easily the WOAT as far as the first season doe :mjlol:). Maybe Dunn and Brogdon pan out to be good players, but even if Simmons ends up being a once in a lifetime player, this class is still fukkin awful.

It's the law of averages coming in to play here my nikka, for every great class u will have a bunch of average classes and a few awful ones. However, u can't find me too many times in NBA History where 2 out of 3 years produced so many great players like we are bout to get once this next class drops.

Your assessment is very wrong homie
