Drake is one of those that makes the most too, and we don't even know anything about these popstars contracts. For all we know the label, Max Martin, management and on might take 90 % of what Taylor generates (who are two people, from two different genres). Adele is in the soul genre, are you telling me that the soul genre is where all these cats are stacking major bread?


You can't look at Taylor and Adele and compare them to Young Thug.
Compare the richest to the richest, and the lesser cats to the less from other genres.



Yes a lot of rappers rap about shyt they can't afford, that doesn't mean that they aren't making a lot of money. It means that they are overspending. Tyson was overspending, he was still rich as fukk. The only problem is see is that rappers live like they'll be making as much as money as they are making forever. They need money management, however since they're airheads the management will probably fukk up their money faster.

Let's not forget your road manager fees, dancers, lights and other effects of show, travel fees, food for you and staff all comes from the artist pockets. So that 30G can turn into 15-18 k real quick. So say 30- 36 stacks a weeks still ain't nothing to sneeze at. But them shows slow up if you don't have a hit record or a
Album out. 2 shows a week can go from 1 a month and your road manager making calls and not getting no bookings in a short period of

But 360 deals aren't as pevelant in pop is they are in hip hop. Records excs know
Hip hop isn't doing the numbers they used to so it gives them a security blanket on thier investments. You think Fetty getting all that show money. Cohan probably gets 30% of all revenues and don't forget he has a manager to pay 15% as well. And Uncle Sam gets half.

2. Venues should have their own lighting.

3. Travel fees shouldn't be so much that it blows through $30k, if your getting booked back to back then travel shouldn't be a cost problem. Rappers are touring for months at a time and travel fees should be considered an investment.

4. Man take them nikkas to iHop or Waffle House, shouldn't cost no more than $200 - $300 for everyone to eat.
