R&B music is stocked full of talented black female singers and they can't even go Gold.
Granted, Adele is a good writer I assume and her songs are from a more unique perspective than typical R&B, BUT let's not pretend the main appeal in her moving that many records is that shes white.

Res will always be one of my favorite artists.
One thing I notice about black people and particularly black women when speaking on Adele is that they always say they don't care if she is white. Like we don't know it is. It's like admitting a guilty pleasure to them.
There are plenty if black artist out now doing music better than her but do not get the support they need from their own people.

There were only whites messing with Res back in the day and less than a handful of blacks. Kind of like Santigold.
They both created albums that are a mixture of Hip-Hop, R&B, Rock and Alternative and Reggae.
I never said Sanitgold was a better vocalist.
People compare Chirs Brown to MJ unfortunately,
