Fam, I love my family for disciplining me early on. I got some switches, plenty belts, and once or twice an extension cord. Kept me in line when i was young and Now Im a grown ass man. An attorney. And Im very thankful for all that.

Since I know what welts look like, I gotta say, he probably crossed the line but not by much. Switches gonna mark u up a little bit. AD wasn't smart about it, cause him and the mother weren't on the same page. This some sh!t that wouldn't stand a chance in court 20 years ago, but everybody got soft. Everybody a psychologist.

I have a young child and I think AD took it too far for this day and age....my daughter's not old enough for that kind of discipline but once she is I might spread a slap or 2 around but a switch to that extent? Its too much even for a non athlete much less one of the NFL's top players. But we also gotta remember that this subject's not so black and white. Corporal punishment is something that's gone through a LOT of change. I look at my grandfather for example who was real old school.....when my mom or her sister messed up he'd have them line up and straight up beat the shyt out of them with no fukks given. Im talking bout the kind of beatings where you wouldnt even breathe wrong in his presence the next couple days. So is it any shock some of that gets passed down to their kids? Nah but whats tolerated by society now is a lot lower and parents just gotta realize that...especially famous ones
