Former four division champion Adrien Broner has some career advice for UFC superstar Conor McGregor -- don't ever try boxing again.
McGregor, a two division champion in the UFC, made his boxing debut last month when he stepped in the ring with five division champion Floyd Mayweather, who is close friends with Broner.
McGregor did well in the early rounds, before Mayweather took over the fight and stopped the MMA fighter in the tenth round at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Mayweather, 40 years old, retired after the fight.
McGregor on the other hand, expressed his interest in boxing again - especially since he made $100 million for the Mayweather fight.
Broner was hanging out at 1 OAK in Los Angeles ... and the superstar boxer didn't mince words when it came to the idea of Conor returning back into the ring.
"If he want this work, I’m a f*** him up," Broner told TMZ Sports. "But other than that, I want him to stay away from this sh*t."
Adrien says McGregor should go back to where he belongs -- the UFC -- because a young boxer like him would do way more damage than Mayweather.
The former 4-weight champ wasn't done there ... telling us boxers could conquer MMA better than Conor did boxing - "cause we fight better than them."
Broner made headlines over the weekend, when a video surfaced that showed him slugging an unknown male on the Las Vegas strip on Friday night. Broner is well known for controversy outside of the ring and there is still word on what provoked the altercation.
He was last in action back in July, when he suffered a twelve round decision loss to Mikey Garcia at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
