What an idiot. It looks like the guy was just a guy walking who MAYBE said something, but there was no confrontation, threat coming from him.
Dude is going to suffer the consequences of this one.. this is not going to go easy in court. At best he settles out of court, but since there was bodily harm that might not even be an option. This can lead to two separate court cases: a criminal case AND a civil suit = jail time PLUS paying money.
