Just giving away liberties for free. The south!

Dumb asses. I can’t wait for the breaches and ppl being put on front street

How can anyone be against this. Kids shouldnt have access to porn. We didnt have full access back in the day thanks to long download times and having one familial computer in a common area of the house:sadcam:

These kids today have a fast computer in their hand. And all you have to do is click yes when it ask if your 18:camby:?

If you want porn so bad, upload your id,whats the problem? People have no issue uploading their credit card info, but wont put their id in?

So what I'm hearing is......

It's OK to expose kids to violence but not sex? Why not have age verification on YT and all the streaming apps?

We do everything possible to make it easy to get guns and put up zero roadblocks to anything involving fighting, guns, violence etc.

Sex makes us uncomfortable.

We still have that Puritan mentality.

How many minors watch gore? Its a none issue.

Youtube is a none issue. It already has age verification requiring you to login. And they will take videos down with the quickness.

Guns is also a none issue.

I couldn't care less about Pornhub, but I'm deeply worried about the precedence this sets for government control of access to online information and access to personal information. This could go well beyond pornography.

│ Yeah, it isn't a porn ban. This is government censorship and won't stop here

│ │ It's not censorship, really, it's worse.
│ │
│ │ They want content providers to keep records of who accesses what content.
│ │
│ │ They'll be providing that data to the government on demand.

Because it doesn't stop kids accessing porn. There are millions of ways kids will still acess it from using vpn's, peer to peer apps, or simply websites just like this one with a JBO section which is full of porn.

All this does is open the door for the government to spy into your bedroom and pave the way for potential data breaches and privacy concerns. Only an idiot would support this government over reach into our basic rights. No matter what they tell you the government will be collecting data on your viewing habits and it wont stop at porn. Their goal is censorship.

BREAKING: SCOTUS upholds Texas age verification law for porn sites, 6 - 3. All three liberals dissent.

Thomas writes that HB 1181 is "subject only to intermediate scrutiny" because the law "advances the State’s important interest in shielding children from sexually explicit content."

This is a dangerous road, now.... what.... is.... porn? According to the same people who pushed this, it's anything they deem it is.

Thats like saying we shouldnt make it hard for people to get guns. Just because someone who really wants a gun can still get one,Doesnt mean you dont have a responsibility to not make it easy for everyone. Why even put up firewalls on our computers. If someone really wants to hack you, they will. This is your logic here.

Allowing kids to get porn access to scroll for hours on end is negligent. Not just kids ,people in general really. Porn shouldnt be allowed to exist any more. And yes i do watch porn from time to time:respect:

Why are liberals so hellbent on liberating the youth sexually:snoop:

This will probably be used against them like the tranny kids were in upcoming elections.

what makes you believe this is an effective policy? is it because you have some technical knowledge or you believe a particular politician?

why aren't you concerned about the dangers of this policy that others have pointed out?

Its not hard to get a gun in the south. What are you talking about. Kids are running around with guns with switches out here. It won't prevent any kid from accessing anything so its pointless. All it accomplishes is government oversight of adults.

And a better analogy would be having a firewall with a built in backdoor for the govt. Defeats the purpose cause it will be exploited eventually.

Parent your child. There’s a million ways to limit kids access to things you don’t want them exposed to. But no, people would rather willingly give up their data to let the state parent for them.

I don’t watch porn and I definitely don’t save my credit card info to websites I don’t have to. There’s data breaches literally everyday from these multi billion dollar companies, and ppl think porn sites will protect their info :mjlol:

America the land of the free :blessed:

I didnt say it was difficult, but your using the same logic that people who cling to their guns use. Maybe the fact its so easy to get guns is why theres so many guns available for kids to gain access too. Point is we have a responsibility to do what we can to keep guns out of dangerous peoples hands,as well as kids. Have you ever heard of the word negligence? Your saying we should throw up our hands because kids will figure out a work around. So my analogy is perfect in my opinion. You would never say this about the info on your computer. You would want protections regardless of if hackers COULD find a workaround if they want to. Youve proven you value your "data" over the youth. Is it possible you have no children and thats why you think like this:respect:
