I feel like overall that people don't understand how ratings work in 2019. Outside of kids channels, advertisers and networks don't give a fukk about viewers under 18 or over 49 because advertisers believe that after 50 people have their brand loyalties set in.

And it's not just with this discussion, yes WWE is less popular then it was in the Attitude Era but you can't compare RAW ratings today to the past because back then they only released overall ratings to reporters. We'll never really know how high or low RAW and Nitro's 18 to 49 ratings were we just know they were big for the time.

These ratings are not a blow to NXT at all. Of course everyone was gonna tune in to AEW to watch their FIRST EVER SHOW over NXT. People needed to see what they are about. They had great production, and good wrestling. NXT has the better overall roster. The main thing is can AEW sustain that type of gap. If this is the same in December, then NXT should worry. This was curiousity ratings.
