I wouldn't really call that area back in the day an affluent Black burbs tho.

I grew up in Cedar Hill. Back in the 90's it was probably 20%-25% Black working and middle class people. The rest of Cedar Hill was probably 65% White.

What happen in the early 00's was a lot the White population(Tax Base) started moving to the newer growing Collin/Denton County burbs(Frisco, Little Elm, Allen, etc).

When the Tax Base left the property value kinda went down. Also in the early 00's was the subprime home loans epidemic. A lot new houses was built in southern Dallas County giving out mainly subprime home loans. This allowed many low income Black people in Dallas to move to this area but with crazy interests rates. Dallas County started sending majority of the section 8 people to this area as well. This lead to what is becoming a hood.

You also have a lot black fake ballers with bad credit people living beyond their means in Dallas. A lot of fake wannabe boule negros. (Like the negros in the video) :mjlol:

The Black people that lived in Cedar Hill back in the day wasn't on that fake wannabe boule negros shyt. We was a real black middle working class people(Common Folk). Those types of negros didn't start moving in until the 00's.

Ya'll listen to this dude right here. When my family finally had money to move out of the hood, my parents had the option to live in Little Elm or in DeSoto. Luckily, they moved us out to Little Elm. DO NOT MOVE TO DESOTO. That shyt is a future slum.

lol Desoto is just the Dallas version of Missouri City

black suburbs, not by design but by circumstance.
Build a upper middle class suburb but have it too close to the hood or low income areas.Whites will be reluctant to live there and middle class black people who came from lower class situations or humble beginnings themselves will flock and just get a security system and some guns.

The schools usually end up going to shyt because the hood kids will have huge sphere of influence over the middle class black kids (don't ask me why, but it's the truth) and you end up with a weird black suburb with it's share of black hood problems.

But most of the black residents don't mind, until property value starts to fall, because the remain whites move out and a lot of the blacks living there aren't making that much money in the first place and can barely afford the homes they live in. Apartment buildings and section 8 housing start to pop up because black residents aren't as vigilant when it comes to keeping poor people out. With the apartment buildings/section 8 housing lower-income families, violent and property crime rises. Soon the whole area has a bad rap and is just a suburb/hood hybrid.

If you aren't talking central banks and currency, then you aren't talking nothing.
I'm saying. There's a story about havens for newly freed slaves from the plantation every year. shyt, remember when ATL was supposed to be the new Black utopia? Everything was gon change starting with ATL?

I dunno I could be wrong. Dallas ngaz are slightly less dumb than ATL ngaz so it might work.

Y'all dudes act like DeSoto is 80's and 90's SC LA. DeSoto isn't all section 8 housing. I know multiple people besides my own family that are living comfortably. Black professionals who made it and now are enjoying the fruits of their labor. It is coming up and I guarantee everyone on the outside is keeping a watchful eye on the burb... they don't want another Greenwood District or another Atlanta. This is precisely why Dallas is sending in the Cliff degenerates, hoping the "crabs" mentality will destroy another community without the SYSTEM having to get it's hands to dirty. Doubt that will happen because as the video report stated, the majority of the burb is "has their shyt together." We shall see what will become of it.

I'll admit Dallas (social scene)may not be ATL(minus the black areas of Plano and Garland) but everyone can't live in Atlanta. The amount of migration of Black Americans alone to the city over the past 30 years is astonishing. We need more communities to achieve "Atlanta-level" prosperity.

Exactly these dudes are fools. Acting like desoto and cedar hill are Compton or 79th street in Chicago. Contrary to a lot of folks talking there are many professional and well to do blacknfolks in desoto and cedar hill. Even places like North Dallas has section 8 spots and crime in certain areas. But like North Dallas.....cedar hill and desoto has nice areas and nice middle and upper class areas.

shyt I grew up in the second most affluent neighborhood in Chicago where it was common to see famous folks and entertainers. We even had poor section 8 folks and crime in the area. The same building that Chris Fairley owned in my neoghborhood some dude got his brains blown out right outside the door step of the building because someone jacked his car.

:salute: to the video but it would be cool if wealthier blacks started focusing on buying and building in majority black cities/areas that have a lot of history within the culture and cheap property at the moment like philly, detroit, memphis, new orleans, etc. That way what happened in tulsa has a smaller chance of happening again since any other race who chose to go against us would be outnumbered on a local level at least.

If nikkas want to call an area where all the stats and data are showing it's going in a downward trend as Black Excellence. :manny:

:mjlol: Enjoy the new Redbird area brehs.

Same shyt that happen to the areas around Carter and Kimball in the 80's. Those areas became middle class black after white fight. Then turned into the hood in no time.

Off Topic: Any black person moving to majority Mexican metro area is a fool anyway. :mjlol:
