:salute: to the video but it would be cool if wealthier blacks started focusing on buying and building in majority black cities/areas that have a lot of history within the culture and cheap property at the moment like philly, detroit, memphis, new orleans, etc. That way what happened in tulsa has a smaller chance of happening again since any other race who chose to go against us would be outnumbered on a local level at least.

It's already kind of happening in new orleans the business climate for entrepreneurship is good plus blacks there already have that entrepreneurial spirit ingrained in them. New Orleans is a cool spot for something like this you have all the black culture you want down there with large numbers of middle class blacks within the city and the suburbs. It's some brothas down there trying to build a little africa in the algiers section then you have the revitalization of Faubourg Treme happening which is the oldest black neighborhood in america. Congo Square always has some great cultural functions going on, the black culture is rich down there.

The downside can be the crime but from what I understand even that is improving, I've never been a victim of serious crime in the city and it's practically a second home to me. New Orleans' black community has a lot going for it that tap dancing culture doesn't seem to be as prevalent down there even amongst the professional blacks.

Just because i don't have the resources at the moment doesn't mean that i can't put the thought on the table for discussion. What I'm saying is nothing new but it will make it a lot easier for people like me in the future to gain access to those resources.
The thought is probably already on the table for those that already have it. Like you said its nothing new just the usual what should people do with their money stuff that I'm not a fan of that's all. I just believe it works better when people do,what they speak on instead of just saying what others should do. It will be easy to gain access to them access by focusing on them and not basically preaching to the choir.

Thanks for sharing those links. I can't lie New Orleans wasn't even on my radar personally especially since I'm not really into whole mardi gras nonsense too much but I'm gonna have to take a second look at it and maybe visit again at a different time of year.

Evidence points towards the contrary, two of the cities i listed alone (Philly and Detroit) are already starting to see the same gentrification trends other cities are dealing with that disfavor black people despite being the majority racial group in those cities. People can do whatever they want with their money, but I'm just saying that not spending it wisely and keeping the big picture in mind could bring some bad consequences to their people and/or their descendants in the future, and they can take that for what they will. The two concepts don't have to be mutually exclusive, it is entirely possible keep your eyes on the prize while also letting others know what's at the end of the tunnel and many successful people even do just that, but yeah I see where you're coming from on that one.

Some may disagree with me, but I don't think Dallas "ghetto" areas are even bad as some think they are.

I remember when I stepped into Camden, New Jersey and Southside Chicago .. never listen to some Dallas nikka talking about how hard Dallas is

No prob, if you enjoy live music it's going to be hard to beat the black live music scene there. If you enjoy the outdoors you'll enjoy new orleans and louisiana in general a great deal. It's definitely a change of pace from typical usa, probably one of the few places in the south you don't see that overbearing bible culture within the black community.

Dude on the real Dallas roughest crime areas can't even fukk with the roughest crime areas in Chicago. This shyt here in Dallas is a walk in the park. The main reason for this is that you don't have the gang violence. Plus the economy is so good folks can get jobs and not have to rob and kill at high rates.

Jokers on here making desoto, duncanville and cedar hill to be the south side of Chicago. Please those areas are nice as hell in comparison. The difference is you may be more likely to live around poor people when compared to North Dallas. But unlike Chicago you are less likely to live around major crime. shyt in Chicago in those dangerous areas people don't even go outside but for work and to get groceries. Property values don't go down because of petty crime or because of poor blacks moving in. Those property values go down because of murders and shyt like that. Hell I own property in Chicago and the issue I have is killings where I own buildings not some petty folks stealing shyt.

Hell in Chicago certain neighborhoods are considered safe if there is prostitution and petty crime instead of gang violence and murders.
