Absolutely learn to drive.

How do you do when you walk? Do you run at top speed without looking or are you careful?

Well then. Driving will be the same way. No need to rush. Be observant and do the speed limit.

Driving is somewhat like being able to talk to strangers (clerks, etc). You don't HAVE to, but it's pretty critical to modern life.

Gotdamn nikka

What AREN'T you afraid of :dahell:

Where is your father?:dahell:

The Key to driving is:

Stay in your lane

Stay at least a car length behind the car in front

Go the speed of traffic

Pay attention to your surroundings at all times especially when switching lanes

And relax...

Driving is like graduating HS.. You dont NEED to fo it but it's statistically a failure in life if you don't. You can uber/cab/bus/or train anywhere but it depends on where you live. No excuse for no one not knowing how to drive at the very basics

As some of y'all on here might of learned I'm a pretty anxious to drive due to the fact me being anxious around people in general.

I was wondering if it's worth learning to driving with this kind of anxiousness and mindset or should I let it go till I get over these problems?
Its easy i was the same way I always thought i was going to fail but I didn't now looking back I probably missed out on some skins by not getting it earlier

My dad taught me something very important which is to watch the tires of cars. If I see a nikka swerving to the left in front of me, usually that nikka is trying to get in the left lane and vice versa. Most people can't drive anyway, but they still do... Best thing for you to do is get a driving instructor if you can't get family to do it. Its worth the investment.

I had a driving instructor but experience is the best teacher. Same with your social anxiety... Do shyt more and it becomes second nature

I'm sorry to hear that

Then you did the right thing, come to your coli fam for advice. Sometimes it's terrible but sometimes it's good.

Look, if you ever notice on the road, there is usually a faint line in between the lanes. Just keep your car in the middle of that line (not the painted lines) and you're good.

At first you need to pay attention to EVERYTHING. Drive scared and cautious...

Overtime it will become second nature but don't think its not important. Check your mirrors constantly.. Like every 5 seconds. Use your signal, drive like a bytch.. Once you get the hang of it it will become second nature

Your driving anxiety isn't anything special.. Everyone has it at first. Start getting used to the whip in a parking lot, learn how fast/slow the car can go. LEARN how to park neatly and correctly. Don't take unnecessary risks, etc.

I was scared at first around your age, but once I started driving to and from work, learning traffic etiquette, etc., I became good. I still get in accidents every so often (had my first one in like 7 years last month but I was drunk) but just be careful.

Where do you live?

Just remember there is nothing to be afriad of in life period. Everything is temporary including your life, so why be afraid? Just enjoy the moments and learn as much as possible to prosper. This includes driving.

Sincerely,
