Afraid to learn how to drive.

I had the same problem with anxiety coming with learning how to drive, I just learned 2 years ago at age 22. One thing that helped me was learning from someone else other than my parents because they made me nervous. I had actually gotten in an accident while learning that scared me away when I was 19. Didn't even touch the wheel again till I was 21. I got a driving instructor who specialized was experienced in helping people in my situation. He broke it down to the basics and showed me it wasn’t much to it. Takes a lot of practice and repetition to get it right tho. Good Luck!

And as harsh as it sounds, nikka needs to hear that. My dad would call me a p*ssy on a lot of shyt growing and it made me angry af... To the point I had did whatever to prove I was not a p*ssy and had to check him at times but as I got older.. But.i felt like maybe he was right about certain shyt.

Learning to drive ain't too hard and once you build proficiency with the basic shyt (Altering and maintaining your speed, turning the wheel and releasing it so that it rolls back into place, driving next to faster, bigger more aggressive vehicles etc..) the only problem you should REALLY have in my opinion is getting the signals and signs and what's not downpact to the point where you don't freak out if you're the first at a light and unsure where you're to turn'n'shyt.

Also, if you've no one cool to help you, get an understanding instructor who won't talk TOO sternly to you or berate you for being nervous or making mistakes while being nervous. That looks like it's gonna be your main thing, getting the instruction you need without feeling like you're frustrating your instructor who in turn will make you more nervous.

You gonna have a knot in your stomach for a while breh, but when you pass and get certified

I just got my license a few weeks ago at the age of 24. I get where you're coming from OP, but just practice multiple times a week with an certified instructor and you'll be comfortable operating a vehicle in no time.
