Besides a majority of Americans don’t even know where a good chunk of countries are located. Americans literally separate Indians and Asians in ethnic sections, even though Indians are freaking Asian.

They separate Middle Eastern people even though they are technically Asian too Just West Asian.

I don't think that's it. I think it's because there's no news coming from Africa unless there's something like a disease outbreak or a war. People have no clue what Africa is like. I was watching a documentary today on Namibia made me want to add it to my list of places to visit (the 2nd most uninhabited country in the world).

Even black folks don't know wtf Africa is about unless you have immigrant family. Walk up to anyone black and ask them to name 5 African countries
