You've been on the Coli for 6 years so you obviously have access to a computer or a smart phone.
In those six years you could have used that time and those same devices to learn numerous skills for free, especially Spanish.

I know basic Spanish, but *certain* employers said that I had to learn it BETTER than I know English, my first language. Tell me, how is that humanly possible?

Just that you justify people being on public assistance, or even death, because they cannot get skills that very few non native speakers can master. A living wage and social mobility is deserved for everyone, even the ones that dont know PhD level of fluency of Spanish that you require.
