Italians call themselves Guidos, Canadian people openly refer to themselves as Canucks, jewish people identify themselves as jews (which was originally an offensive term)
Yes they are.No they ain't.

Never said it was ok, just calling out the OP's false statement that ONLY african american people call each other words that were initially used as slurs. And to your second point, that is neither here nor there. Black people have called each other ******s for hundreds of years way before Hip Hop due to internalized hate and other feelings of inferiority reinforced by white supremacy. Rap didn't start that shyt. Similarly it's not even like white people would have stopped referring to us as ******s at any point either if it wasn't for rap. Even in other countries such as Haiti it is extremely common for people to call each other the kreyol equivalent of the word ****** (neg) as a term of endearment and that ain't no fault of rap music. It all stems from white supremacyWell that makes it okay then!
Would you argue the word would not be anywhere near as relevant had hip hop not exploited it for money?
Yes they are.
They call each other beaner right in front of me.![]()

Im in TX which are Mexicans straight from the Border.I'm sure some do, but the majority do not. I was born and raised in AZ which is basically Mexico. I'm surrounded by Mexicans, grew up around them and never heard one say "spic" or "beaner". They sure love throwing around the word "nikka" though thinking they black.![]()
were any of these people enslaved for hundreds of years and dehumanised by those words?Italians call themselves Guidos, Canadian people openly refer to themselves as Canucks, jewish people identify themselves as jews (which was originally an offensive term)
Im in TX which are Mexicans straight from the Border.
Majority or not they still do collectively.

Doesnt matter which is more. These are mexicans from different areas, including from the border calling each other beaner and spic which means its collectively. As a whole, have you heard more Mexicans saying "nikka" or using "beaner" & "spic"?
This is interesting to me because not once have I witnessed them calling each other their own ethnic slurs.![]()

Read the thread again.
Stop trying to erase black culture. nikka in all its forms is a word many black folks use for different reasons. Just let it be because it's not really the problem.
There are better things to worry about then them obsessing over the word nikka thoI've read the thread, OP was saying that only AA's do this which isn't true, I agree. But it is true to the extent at which we do it.
When the whole world is callin us nikkas and we're doing the same thing, that's a problem.
