Back on the days we was slaves, whips and chains.Cam is famous for being ignorant and arrogant. He isn't the sort of rapper that even identifies with Africans so this is odd.

Wtf is flat blackness?Only people upset by what Cam said are people who always look for something to be upset about.
"they don't fukk with us like that". I don't Cam is saying every African hates all Black Americans.
Africans know Black Americans ain't them. Does that mean they hate us? NO
It's just an acknowledgement of difference, and there is nothing wrong with that.
American Faux Wacks like Umar will be the most offended because they still believe in flat Blackness.

First it was Tariq fans, now it’s black Americans over 40.Funny Cam says this because over the past few weeks I've been seeing a lot of Black Americans in Nigeria and Ghana partying over there having the time of their lives vibing out. That's one thing I salute about the new era of 20 and 30 year olds. Now they got the money to travel over there and finding out the real truth. I feel sorry for nikkas 40+ still talking like this. The only Africans who I see hating on Black Americans are the ones who don't interact with Black Americans on a daily basis or c00n Africans who are white washed.
Why would Africans even have a reason to hate AA's??? Or Brazilians, Haitians or any other Black Diasporan? Or vice versa..no one has done anything to anyone, whether African or AA so this bickering is tiresome and stupid.
People love the idea of having haters for some odd reason it appears. Makes them feel big I suppose.

Perhaps Cam encountered some African immigrants and they didn't know who he was.

When I say Africans in a derogatory manner I’m usually referring to West Africans. Please don't let these weirdos confuse you. When we speak of Africans, we speak of those we see everyday, in our schools, at the job, in the neighborhood. I have no beef with those in the motherland trynna make it do what it do. My issue is with these dikkheads over here. They're disrespectful.
I would never go to no African/ black country and tell them what they need to be doing, especially when whatever they doing is what got me there. thriving It's wild out of pocket. They try to downplay it, but these same black immigrants be the main ones speaking against reparations. Off code than a mu'fukka.![]()
To me it is not about "hate" per se. Just recognizing that we are different. Black immigrants always understood this, and there is nothing wrong with that.
Gen-X Black Americans like me grew up at the tail end of the Black Empowerment movements of the 70's and in the middle of the Afrocrentric 80's and 90's. We were taught a bunch of flat blackness "we are all the same" rhetoric.
When Black immigrants get over here they are not always on that. Especially in cities like NYC were immigrants have their own ethnic enclaves. It took a while for some of us (ADOS/Freedmen) to finally understand that.

Lol
They aren’t picking up a rhetoric, this is nothing new.I'm a Black American. Idk why this statement gets any pushback. I'm Black. That's it.
That said Mase gagged him a bit with that "but Americans do" bit, Cam'rons response should've been more of an allegiance to the ethnicity rather than the focus on our nationality.
I'll say this too, we really aren't being honest about the straight up xenophobia Black Americans experience in cities where the majority are first and second generation Americans. People act like we making the shyt up. I got way too many personal stories about the shyt, and it's not surprising a lot of the entertainers or celebs picking up this rhetoric are from those kinds of cities.
I think his grifting has levels.I get the grifter bit, but do you think Umar is totally a fraud and 100% insincere?
