I mean it’s a give or take. Some Africans would act like we’re not connected however I have had Professors at Stony brook (Dr Gulema) who are adamant that the black Diaspora needs to be connected and that we all share the same blood. I mean Dr. Gulema spoke at the African Union assembly about how we need to connect with our Black American brothers and received a standing ovation.

I think I told this story once but when I was getting my Drivers license many moons ago the driving school was ran by a Nigerian family. They were adamant that we are one group and kept trying to share their culture and our culture while teaching us to drive.

So it’s good sometimes and other times it’s not. Personally I’m just exhausted of white people overall and I rather not make any more enemies right now
