Depends on culture I guess. Most Ghanaians will recognize African Americans and Caribbeans as Africans our brothers and sisters. If you go to Ghana the overwhelming majority will treat you as such. Other cultures I don't know about, honestly.

I have literally never met a person from my two ethnicities (Malawian and Zimbabwean) that have ever disliked or distanced themselves from Black Americans. Some of my family members married Black Americans.

Speaking honestly, every anecdote I’ve heard about anti-Black American rhetoric/interactions involves Nigerian immigrants. Not that all Nigerians are on that time.
