I actually agree with Umar. Why are some of us so quick to cut ourselves from our roots? Every African does not have an antagonistic attitude toward African Americans and vice versa.

disagreements are normal it's the people who are invested in keeping the rift alive that I watch like the posters trying to use Cam to confirm their inherent bias. There's plenty of Black Americans and they can all have differing opinions. I didn't find anything Cam said offensive it's disappointing but not offensive.

Kenyans, Malawians, Zambians, Burundians are just about the best people you will meet ever.
West Africans are the most brilliant, talented, confident and athletic Africans(most Black Americans). Hence all the white people fished there for slaves. Nigerians, Cameroonians etc dominate wherever they go. And Lord knows you gonna hear of em when they're in town.
Ethioians, Somalians think they are better than other Africans and do not like to associate much with em.
South Africans, which I am, are currently enjoying the effects of last remaining Fossil Fuels. No South African really knows what being a true African feels like(empty stores, no water, no power, civil wars etc) Thats why we are very Xenophobic. Lots of ignorance around here which is ironic coz the whole continent rallied for us to get our freedom from the boer's.
What you will find everywhere though,is that Black American are the most commonly adored people among all Africans. Yes there will be(outliers) videos here and there that question y'all and the direction the culture takes. But go anywhere in Africa and say you black American and you will be famous in no time. The style, the music, your heroes etc. It's all celebrated here too.
