That chart represents only the people that have benn tested and provided their results ton that ancestry DNA database. A lot of Dominicans And African Americans haven't taken the ancestry DNA test.
Well The Spanish colonies culturally accepted racial mixing. America did not. Thus black Americans are proving to be more African. The data that we do have is correlating with historical evidence. It makes sense. We can make an educated guess by Afams physical appearance vs Latin America. One group clearly has more African physical traits.on average.

By your logic NO should also be apart of LA when it is a region/city thay is now apart of the USA...
If the definition is purely linguistic then Quebec would be included no ? And what about Martinique and Guadeloupe ? As they are not independent

That would suggest those West African and central african French speaking nations are Latino..never heard that mentioned before.
How do you not know that Haiti is part of Latin America? You can not not learn Latin American history without learning about Haiti. In fact it was the French that coined the term "Latin America".

Isn't French a Latin language? People need to understand that Latino is not exclusive to Spanish speaking people. Latin America=romance languages(French, Spanish, Portuguese) of the New World and thus "Latin America." Brazilians are also Latino since they speak a Latin language. Haiti is not only apart of Latin America but was the FIRST Latin American country.
Haitians not being considered Latino is a good example why threads like these are necessary in a way. Haitians would be considered Latino if they looked like Brazilians (what they're perceived to look like anyway).

Alot of people just have a hard time grasping the concept of Latinos being Black
