Imagine that we've seen how this story ends over and over. Arab and Asian jewelers remain rich and continue to offload junk jewelry on unsuspecting black musicians and athletes. Meanwhile, 5 years later, the musician or athlete goes broke and pawns that jewelry for a fraction of the cost he paid for it and the jeweler and his family are still living large. Then, we get mad that other races aren't helping us out when we could have used that money to build our own infrastructure.

One of the key signs to know you are getting fleeced is that you barely see people of that jeweler's own race in those pics or in those stores. Look at the instagram pages of these jewelers like Johnny Dang, Avianne, and this guy. Why don't you see a bunch of Vietnamese in Johnny's store? Or a bunch of Italians in Avianne? Or a bunch of Arabs getting iced out? They know what they are selling you and cats think they are 'homies' with these jewelers but they are giving you a smile because they just got them a sucker.
