at me being a Nets fan... you Knicks fans are truly delusional, you're gonna bring back the same squad and miraculously turn into contenders this year



I don't know what to tell you; as of today, July 3rd, the Nets are a more talented team than the Knicks.

Even if the Knicks re-sign Lin and Novak and get them a serviceable SG... so? That squad was a 7th seed last year and never taken seriously, what else would change aside from Amare and Chandler being another year older? The only way they can save face is to convince Steve Nash to go there instead of Toronto. Outside of that, they won't be a significantly better team than the squad that got mopped in the 1st round last season

their starting SG is likely gone, they don't have a legitimate PG on the roster as of right now, their best shooter isn't signed yet, their best perimeter defender will miss at least the first 2 months of the season, Amare and Chandler are another year older, etc.
