If white people get in trouble for saying stuff like this, why wouldn’t a black person?

If she didn’t apologize, and they didn’t suspend her, they would have had advertisers pull out, and taken down the show. And the black network shouldn’t have to risk her job and bank account for Whoopi. We are not in a position to give that woman another job. This is about money. But by all means, act like white people, and think anybody can say whatever they want to say publicly without consequences.

I don’t feel sorry for anybody that still gets caught up.

Craig Erwich is the President of the ABC network as a whole. He's the one who suspended Whoopi, not Kim Godwin.
