Lol nikkas be making up shyt. If your single gets marketed,it's mainstream. Dont matter if it's a "mainstream sounding single" it's mainstream bottom line

Probably b/c he's an album artist. People check for his albums as a whole instead of just the singles.
You could ask how come Future only sold 300k albums of DS2 but had platinum singles?
Lmao,At album artist. If you drop marketed singles and do extravagant performances at award shows. Your just a artist. Ain't no such thing as album artist.

Lol...what classic record had "mainstream" hits...there are a few..but not many.....TPAB is considered damn near a classic record by many...based on the quality of the music...you fools are trying to make a classic artist based on his popularity...foh with nonsense breh...popularity is not the measurement for greatness...the moment you understand that you will understand what I am trying to convey.
Naw,it's a classic by paid internet trolls. Kids aint gon grow up and look back 10 years at that weak hitless project.
Drake will be the great memory

Future went plat
With only 350k albums sold. The rest is streaming. Singles count in streaming. If they didn't, would he be platinum? Gold even? Why can't Future sell albums?
Why aren't people interested in a whole album of Future?
Buying albums is an antiquated way of looking at popularity
Yep. We now have streaming, which is in some ways a better judge of interest that an artist generates. But they screw it up by tacking single streams onto album streams.

Also, the fact that Kendrick sold nearly three times as many albums as Future is pretty significant. Not to mention the fact that he did it without hits. Shows he has a different, more personal relationship with his fans. They want a whole project from Kendrick and are willing to pay for it. Not to mention a larger fanbase.
