With only 350k albums sold. The rest is streaming. Singles count in streaming. If they didn't, would he be platinum? Gold even? Why can't Future sell albums?

Yep. We now have streaming, which is in some ways a better judge of interest that an artist generates. But they screw it up by tacking single streams onto album streams.

Also, the fact that Kendrick sold nearly three times as many albums as Future is pretty significant. Not to mention the fact that he did it without hits. Shows he has a different, more personal relationship with his fans. They want a whole project from Kendrick and are willing to pay for it. Not to mention a larger fanbase.

Kendrick is supposed to the new mainstream great rapper like Pac, Jay, Em but he hasn't had a song that was a hit since like 2013

But his last album sold 850k. Only other people doing that are Drake and Cole. Future sold 350k.
