If he wouldn’t have gotten injured trying to push himself to get back, I can see him coming back. Since it went down the way it went down, I can’t see him in a hurry to come back. Maybe if they’re in decent playoff position he might come back around April

I care more about him coming back as close to 100% as possible than how early he comes back. A big hurdle of recovery is confidence in using whatever you hurt without having to think about it.

Yea that's how I see it. I personally would sit him the full season, but stranger things have happened....
If he wants to be back by then, outside of any setbacks, i'd set the % of him being back by then at 100%. Not saying he'll back to 100%, but i would say his CHANCES of being back would be 100%.

That sounds all well and great but I said earlier, let him sit out the whole year and have him be 100% ready to go the next season so he can get fully acclimated to the team in training camp and practices, etc.
