We've been following it in the Nets thread of course. He was walking around Brooklyn without the crutch not all that long after surgery, then came the pics with him balancing on one leg. The clip before that one a week or two ago he was shooting one legged Dirk fadeaways off the leg.

I thought all along he could come back and play limited minutes before the season ends, the progression just didn't make sense when you look at how Cousins looked like coming back from his. But with the way our season's gone there's no point besides NBA fans getting to see him again.

I know Sherman, Emmanuel Sanders, & Barea have come back mostly the same from theirs but I think KD's will have people looking at the injury different, kinda like AP with ACL tears now.

the difference with football players is it's nowhere as much impact

playing 48minutes running jumping planting cutting is harder than 11minutes total of intermittent activity

the injury is more of an issue in bball than in football
