This is really a good conversation to have. If you could get the top 50 or 60 black athletes over a span of 2 or 3 years, to commit to HBCU's, there would be a change of power(in a way). These black schools would start getting more money. But here's the thing...
1) i dont think it's possible to get that to happen.
2) A lot of HBCU's have issues that go beyond money. Integrity is one of them. My sister went to one, and she said it was very ghetto. I was surprised and not surprised at the same time.
3) even if it all worked out, Im not sure what type of impact it would have on blacks in general, although I hope it would be positive.
Hear the same shyt everytime and the shyt is not hard to comprehend.....
. I remember my mom telling me they were flying those flags everywhere when she was in Mississippi when seeing relatives a few years back. She went to see her late first cousin, who's a Miss State alum. That cousin was more than 
when she saw it when they were on a road trip to Jackson.
HBCU programs is not looking out for their best interest and no one here is pretending to do so.
sadly its true. we fought so hard to integrate instead of simply out performing those schools by providing the best education.
