I'm in the minority that thinks losing to the Mavs was the best thing to happen to this team and LeBron James. We're all assuming that the future would have remained the same if they won, which is not a given (i.e, they would have made the next two finals). Truth is, that loss forced all of them to take a look at themselves, the chemistry, the coaching, role players, etc... It also humbled them. But the role players adjustment was huge. I know damn well during Game 6 last year against the Spurs that the finals against the Mavs had to be on their minds.



Though
Bron playing like a broad was the only reason Wade had a shot at MVP to begin with. He just didn't have it in him to close the deal as the man with Bron and Bosh giving plenty of support as 2nd and 3rd options.
