Copied from The Booth, but this is home base sohh :manny:

My brother passed away back in February and all I can say is that its been tough.Writing this is tough.
And uh.. long story short. I was on YouTube and seen a video of my brothers father who was a singer (Tony Drake - Let's Play House/etc)
His real name was Samuel. And so my brother was named Tony Samuel. Anyways, I decided to "attempt" something I would never try
I decided to make a whole ass R&B Album in his memory. Something that I know he would have been excited to see. And doing this makes a connection.
Because instead of feeling pain, I put myself out there, for him. And whatever comes with that, I welcome it.
Because its not about the success of the project, its about going thru with something that he inspired. And with that, Mission accomplished :salute:
And I released it on his birthday (12/16) he would have been 54.
I decided to go with 5 songs and 4 remixes :manny: but one is more of a "promo Version" because that's the version ESPN & Gatorade should use :wow:
I also uploaded the wrong version of 2 a days (Its Jina, not Jena) and that will be fixed by later today. Otherwise, its available anywhere music is streamed.
For those who don't use those services, you know what it is. So here ya go...

A quick rundown of the tracks.

1. Intro - I took that from when I was at a Trayvon Martin Rally in DC, and here it be

2. No Apologies - If you beefing with your bytch, then you'll feel this one :yeshrug:

3. Let's B Great - I made the "Promo Version first" and then filled the song out. Its basically what you'd think LeBron is listening to

4. 2 a days - I remember late summer, we go to practice in the morning and be done by noon. Then we go back like at 4pm for another couple hours of practice.
And that's what the chorus is about nah mean. But I couldn't make a song about that and so I hope you enjoy the alternative :handshake:

5. Where dem bones buried - Black Empowerment/Educational song, all facts. An earlier version has me preaching at the end about stuff that is important (to me at least) but the song is already the longest as is so I had to cut it.

6. Dreamer - First verse is about a specific situation, verse 2 is about various situations that I combined so it comes off like I'm talking about one person
Verse 2 could have used more time in the oven imo but I had a deadline. I never done R&B, gimmie a break :damn:

I would like to thank everyone here who contributed to my brothers funeral, once I get my international checks, I will reimburse you or you can have front row tickets to one of my sold out shows :troll:
