It doesn’t matterI don't even hold Cole and Ken in such high regard, tbh
whats J Cole stadium anthem , sh*t whats J Cole's hood anthem?
Yall nikkas make up the metrics as you gowhats J Cole stadium anthem , sh*t whats J Cole's hood anthem?
"Know Yourself" is the typical shallow Drake introspection. shyt is basically another Started from the Bottom, but not as good. Just because you like yelling "RUNNING THROUGH THE SIX WITH MY WOES" to the mirror, doesn't make it a classic. And yes, if you're going to bring up how Family Business and Real Friends are sequels, we're bringing in Drake's narratives.save it, breh. What's all that got to do with how the song sounds? I don't care about backstories and narrative.
shyt is the typical cop-out answer. In regards to what, exactly? I don't read Rolling Stone and haven't followed rap blogs in years, yet you calling Know Yourself better than any of Kanye's music is some 2009- blog hot-take. Especially with the "oh, I don't care about media hype or narrative." Like Drake doesn't have clout. You've read one too many blogs and Rolling Stone articles. Again, I don't care about narrative and media hype.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Kanye remake this song at some point? "Real Friends?" shyt's basically a sequel to Family Business.
Even Kanye probably thinks Family Business is one of his best ever songs. If you couldn't tell that Family Business was the best (or one of the obvious standouts) of College Dropout, you weren't listening close enough.
Yeah I wasn’t even going to answer thatYall nikkas make up the metrics as you go
"How many tracks did Travis Scott produce for Blueprint 1"![]()

It doesn’t matter
Them having more music that has more content that will stand the test of time is not a debate
The same way Drake having more pop hits isn’t a debate either
However you want to spin it manthat answered my question.
Kanye admittedly has said that his drums are his achilles heel, so I'll give you that. But, it's not like Kanye hasn't had other producers work on drums for him. As for voice, Drake sounding hard (pause) always sound odd, even though I think IYRTITL and NWTS were both his best work, like that was around the time he was trying real hard to be a one-man Migos and try to take Meek's screeching. The melodically pleasing part, I don't know if Drake could do something like Two Words, Drive Slow and some of Kanye's flow stunt tracks. shyt I think Ye's verses in Gorgeous body anything Drake has ever made.
Breh, this convo's not gonna work if you make shyt up as you go along. Let's have an actual hip hop convo here.
Know Yourself is a superior beat to damn near any beat in Kanye's solo discog. From the drums (which Kanye typically has terrible drums) to whatever Boi-1da sampled for the melody on top. Vocally, Drake is superior to Kanye from voice to riding the beat. So you can understand where I'm going with this. It's a better song. Melodically, it's more pleasing to my ears than most of Ye's solo work. The first half of Know Yourself demolishes just about anything I've ever heard from Ye.
Kanye the solo artist doesn't make hard hip hop. He never has. Drake makes harder hip hop than Ye.
