If they weren’t a necessity to travel quickly I would avoid this hellhole at all costs.
What part I was just in Cancun/Tulum lastw eek and the week before. Man what made the airport experience decent was seeing all them baddies in line and on the plane. That trip was fun as hell.
Regarding this thread, the lines weren't that long. Now when we got to Cancun that line we long as fukk but thankfully we had another group that had landed before us so we cut in front of them.

Bag go thru the X Ray and there’s still something in it. So now they gotta stop the belt, pull the bag, and dig thru all their shyt to find the Bluetooth speaker they forgot they had packed
Now the line is long, everybody held up, my coworkers mad at me even though I told these fools what to do multiple times.
I only lasted 9 months, I couldn’t take it. The general population is embarrassing.
The way I put up with working for TSA for so long (5 years) was to work in baggage. Even then you will encounter all kinds of fukkery. Glad I'm gone.
Precheck
My old airport “close” Precheck at 4 or 5pm. It used to be hilarious watching all the privileged and entitled cacs walk up all proudly to get their ticket scanned. And you send them to the regular degular line.
