That's so outright idiotic shyt on TNA's part....I could see them doing that with almost anyone else on the roster but not the guy who's the fukking cornerstone of your company.

Dark AJ got dropped way too soon, even if people were making the comparisons to Crow Sting. And that theme:

:ohlawd:

I didn't know my crackah Blues Saraceno wrote/played that song :krs:

This is probably a work but I wish it was real. My biggest beef by far with TNA is how consistently they've shyt on AJ Styles (who is supposed to be the cornerstone of their company.

TNA had such a hard on for ex-WWE talent that they continually threw Styles under the bus so they could hype up some washed up ex-WWE person. Virtually every fukking time he was TNA champion some other person was the focal point of his feud. Then they kept fukking with his gimmick by having him do cheap impersonations of other wrestlers.....

WWE doesn't want Styles, and he'd be treated worse than D-Bryan. TNA should be ashamed of wasting that guys potential.

Like when they ruined AJ's great World Title run to give the Title to RVD? :snoop::snoop:

They shouldn't have attempted to go on the road in the first place. They were struggling to bring in people in that little ass territory that they had. You gotta lock down home before you take your show on the road.

And while they had been paying ex-WWE guys from day one when Hogan, BIschoff, and Flair showed up you KNOW they were getting payed more than anybody that had been there before them. those three guys play hardball when it comes to showing up anywhere as they not working for some bullshyt indy payscale. Hogan and Bischoff in particular wont work for anything less than mid six figures and they were getting paid directly from Panda energy (just in case TNA went under during their stint).

I guess what I'm saying is that if the costs for road shows were anything close to what the observer reported (I think they were on the high end), then what they paid those guys probably wouldn't make much of a difference. They were probably losing Hogan's salary in a couple months of road tapings :heh:

He prob make more on the indies than TNA or WWE

He wouldn't make more but he'd be making really good money (especially internationally) and would have a LOT more off time. I'm assuming AJ is one of those guys that's fairly smart with his money and has a couple side hustles.

I personally think WWE is making a mistake in not bringing him in. WWE is severely lacking in quality faces and Styles could help fill that void. Styles has a similar connection to crowds that Rey Mysterio had.

As a performer AJ could easily adapt to the WWE style and his clean cut nature would have kids gravitating towards him much in the same way they do Cena.

If Danielson can get over in WWE Styles could DEFINITELY get over.

Thank you! I can't for the life of me figure out why some people say AJ couldn't adapt to the WWE's style. As dark AJ he did that very thing (as Mike Tenay reminded us on numerous occasions when he returned).

Anybody that would think that AJ can't wrestle a WWE style hasn't seen AJ wrestle before. People see the highlights and think he's a spot monkey but that couldn't be further from the truth.

He could definitely adapt. He wouldn't even have to change much. Good call on Dark AJ changing up the style a bit too.

I think if he were younger, it'd be a no-brainer.

He had to change up his style more for that gimmick because he standard style wouldn't fit. One thing i like about AJ is that he changes up his moveset depending on his gimmick or if he's a heel or face. You can't be doing crazy high spots that gets the crowd overly hype when you're supposed to be a sullen loner.

AJ Styles releases statement about today, his final contract day:

Today for the first time in 11 years, AJ Styles awakes to find himself without a professional wrestling contract. I can't help but think how did I get here, what must I have done wrong, did I not deliver in the ring, etc. All of those are pertinent questions that any man or woman who finds himself or herself unemployed would ask. I have always prided myself in being the wrestler that stays away from the things in this business that could easily destroy myself, my family, my marriage, and even my career. A wrestler who goes above and beyond to give the fans what they paid to see. I move forward not bitter, but better for the blessings and memories that I have been a part of since TNA's inception.

When this contract renegotiation journey started several months ago, my wife and I began praying for God to close doors that needed to be closed and to open the doors that He wanted us to walk through. We asked him to prepare us for this journey and to help us to have the faith to be obedient to what He would have us to do. I am assured by the name Immanuel in Matthews 1:23 that I will never be alone. Hebrews 13.5, says He will never leave us or forsake us. There is a lot in this world that I am unsure of, especially in this moment, but there is one thing that I am certain. Contracts may expire, but the promise of Immanuel will never expire.

As my family and I move forward with my wrestling career, we will turn to Jabez's prayer found in 1 Chronicles 4:10.

Oh, that You would bless me indeed,
and enlarge my territory,
that Your hand would be with me,
and that You would keep me from evil.

My family and I are both grateful for the platform that TNA has allowed me to experience. TNA has been a blessing to our family for many years. We have made many friendships and many more memories. While you may not be seeing AJ Styles in TNA, you can be sure that he will be traveling the world and delivering many more Phenomenal matches. Visit AJStyles.org for a complete list of bookings.

Sincerely,
AJ Styles P1

TNA such a bytch ass company.

if I were WWE Id sign and put him in a tag team with Tyson Kidd..I don't think he can get over at this stage solo but in a tag team has a chance to flourish and Kidd is already criminally underutilized that both could be dynamic together looking at their repertoire ..they could be over:ld:
