"Who this nikka think he is???" - massa

yeah Drake has been a thorn in Lucian Grainge fat side for awhile now...

But He has no choice but to tolerate Drake because him along with Rihanna and Mozart (yes ...that Mozart lol)

made Universal/Republic the No 1. label in streaming revenue for 2016 according to Billboard

Lucian took note and "praised" Drake for his contributions via his annual year end memo to staff and personel

if he's as arrogant in the industry as he is with his rap peers than I can see a lot of execs wanting to put Drake in his place. Lets not forget Drake is still a very powerful black man.

:russell:ovo media machine spreading mis-info to paint drake as the victim.:duck:

Ne ways he said that diss about ready, well drop it then drake lets uncover these layers
Actually on second thoughts this is what It sounds like. Remember Drake has previously echoed this delusional idea that the industry is trying to pull him down when in reality he's got more corporate backing then any rapper ever.

And don't forget Pusha has Karen Civil in his corner. She's the most dangerous person in the urban digital and social media world. She shuts down any stories that are negative to her people and pushes those against people beefing with her clients.

Meek has talked about her having blogs discredit him last year.

Sensing an obvious conflict of interest with this one. Particularly, Nicki and her relationship with Drake. The only thing I think Karen's bytch ass can do is be neutral in this situation afaik

If this is true it's more so a kick the man while he's down sort of thing. I doubt they'd put backing behind Push before they're sure it would even work.

Also like someone said, Drake is still going to sell regardless, tainted image and all. Adding a bit of additional promo for Push post Addidon has potential to make the label even more money. The rationale would be "Drake can handle the loss."

Also it brings Drake back down to Earth. He is being humbled and his behavior will reflect that going forward.

You guys really believe this huh.

If Pusha had pulled a Meek and released a track that wasn't noteworthy, he'd be getting clowned by McDonalds' twitter account and everyone else. Instead he read the audience and gave them what they want. Drama, gossip, fukkery...and some bars. He forced the media to pay attention, including people who don't care about rap. Social media responds to routs: when the crowd is running one way, media runs with them. Drake got clowned, and everyone wanted a piece of that for the attention and clicks it provides. There is no conspiracy here.

But there's a flip side. When Drake responds...assuming it's simply a well put together track like Ducky with no real body blows/blood drawn...everyone is gonna act like Drake came back from a 3-1 deficit to win the NBA championship. His fans, various corporate twitter pages, etc.

I'm not entirely sure about the last paragraph. I think it has to be a little more than well put together. I don't think it'll have to be as vicious as Story of Adidon, but I think it's gotta have a few nice combos that land. At least for everyone outside of his most hardcore stan-base and sponsors. Put it this way. I think it has to be slightly better than Duppy. If he just retreads the same ground he covered on Duppy, and there's nothing in the diss we didn't already know about Push, I think it's possible that we see what you're saying will happen, but I'm not as confident as you are.

nikkas can't handle that an actor who doesn't write his own music got washed by a lyricist who does. Nobody needs to back him like he a new rapper who just decided to rap and go after Drake. Act like the clipse didn't happen brehs. Act like he hasn't made music after that either brehs.

Pusha has always been known and respected. Yall act like he's been some underground rapper his whole career. I doubt UMG is taking his side but its not surprising industry people showing him more love than Meek got. Clipse always got love and were respected.
People often forget how the Clipse were really the first internet darlings in hip hop when the music review blogs started popping up

goons in the cut tryna talk you out yo necklace
Drake has a lot of people that don’t fukk with him and/or fake fukk with him like 2 Chainz and ASAP.

Diddy, The Dream, Jay, Ye, Ross, Meek, Budden, Kendrick, Sean, the list goes on.

It’s all spread out and Drake is now fully realizing that. They want his head.
Oh he always knew... He's made mention of it. "somehow the higher up have all come together as a collective to send me a message.." Now he has to deal with it

I feel like if he was fully ahead of it like he thought he wouldve been addressed that photo and the child.

He wouldnt have taken the Pusha bait.
